Hi everyone and Happy Valentine's Day! I'm so excited to be guest posting here on Put a Bird On It. My name is Becky & I blog over at Babes in Hairland. I've been blogging for over 5 years, and as a result our blog has hundreds of hairstyle tutorials. We are all about hair, and having only girls, that means I get to do a lot of hair!
Our blog has a wide range of hairstyles (for babies and toddlers, to prom & bridal styles, and everything in between) and since it's Valentine's Day today we thought it would only be right that we share with you some of our gorgeous updo's and styles that are perfect for a wedding or a romantic night on the town!
Don't let some of the pictures deter you from trying these out. I'm not a professional stylist, so if I can do these, (and if you are a bit hair challenged) with a bit of practice you can do these too! Some of my tutorials are in video format, others are step-by-step pictures to show you how I achieved the look. Just click on the name of the hairstyle and it will take you right to it!
I actually was just messing around when I came up with this style - but it turned out great so I shot a video showing how we did it. I can totally see this at a wedding or prom.
This one I technically did after my daughter was baptized, but would look gorgeous with a tiara for a bride instead of a headband.
This one turns out so pretty and is so easy. We've got a video showing how we made this one!
If you can do a basic 3 strand braid, you can achieve this pretty style with ease. Add some fresh flowers to this & it would dress it up making it perfect for a wedding style.
I've actually done this style on a friend of mine for her wedding day. Once again, it looks like there is much more involved than meets the eye. The link above is for our "pic-toral" when I did it years ago. I recently shot a video showing how we did it as well. I used a bit bigger curling iron when I did it a second time, but the idea is the same. You can watch that video HERE.
Once again, if you know how to make a basic braid, you can get this look!
And while this one, a bride obviously wouldn't wear - it IS Valentine's Day, so I thought I best share my favorite hairstyle we created just for Valentine's Day!
Well, I'll leave you with these styles, and hope you'll come visit our blog and say hi! To see all our tutorials - for every age, and any occasion, you can see our Hairstyle Gallery HERE, and we'd love if you followed us on Facebook or Instagram. If you prefer videos, you can subscribe to our You Tube Channel, but not all our hairstyles are there at this point! And if you want to see what else we love (besides hair) we're also on Pinterest. Thanks again Daniela for inviting us to share some of our favorite bridal styles!

Thanks Becky! I've been super excited to share Becky's website with all of you. I love her hairstyle ideas. I always wear my hair the same way and never know what up-do to do. Becky's website always has a great idea for seriously every occasion. Definitely go follow her - your hair will thank you. :)
I hope you all have an amazing Valentine's Day. My little family will be spending the evening at our ward Valentine's Day Dinner & Dance {don't know what a "ward" is? you can learn about what I believe and my life >> HERE}. This is Ava's second Valentine's Day, and I can't wait to shower her {and Conrad!} with lots of love. Like I shared on Wednesday's post {which you can view HERE}, it's not about the love you GET - it's about the love you GIVE.
