Typically when people hear "getting married at the courthouse," they think of this scenario: the bride dressed in a white cocktail dress, the groom dressed in church/business clothes, maybe their parents there for support, and getting married by the judge.
A real wedding is the whole shin-dig: a white wedding dress, the room filled with guests, a reception, a cake cutting, and everything in between. And if you've ever wondered what it would be like to have a wedding INSIDE the Denton courthouse, you can now see real pictures of a real wedding that took place there.
Unfortunately, the Denton county website has zero pictures of what the inside of the courthouse looks like... which is unfortunate because it is stunning. It has beautiful architectural structures, historical character, and is quite large. It can be a great venue for a wedding, (if you have a guest list of under 100 people). There's a reception area, "rooms" to get ready (with bathrooms), and of course, a courtroom for the ceremony.
